Surprising sweet families who have been selected to go on Bert’s Big Adventure’s magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World® is the highlight of the holidays each year!
This week, Bert, Kristin, Davi and Moe, Bert’s Big Adventure staff members and our amazing volunteers gathered at Georgia Aquarium to surprise nine of the newest families selected for our annual February trip down to Disney! Families were tricked into believing that they were meeting Bert for a casual, laid-back, in-person interview at Georgia Aquarium. No big deal, right?!
What they didn’t know was that they were about to be in for the shock of a lifetime…! Just when they thought they were in for a simple evening, we busted open the double doors of the beluga room to reveal a packed PARTY just for them! We all hugged as Bert gave the good news – we were off to Disney in 63 days!! Every #BBA2020 kiddo even took home the official key to Walt Disney World!

A big thank you to Georgia Aquarium for providing their beautiful Arctic Ballroom for this magical evening! Their amazing team also spoiled us with a delicious meal and tickets to explore all of the amazing exhibits in the aquarium!
