Thousands will gather in Piedmont Park to celebrate the fifth annual Atlanta Moon Ride on Friday, June 9th! The festivities include a pre-party in Piedmont Park at 7 p.m., followed by a lively, 6-mile bike ride through some of Atlanta’s coolest neighborhoods at 11 p.m. alongside the Atlanta Police Department. The new route has riders passing through Virginia Highland- home to numerous bars, restaurants, and spectator events.
Participants are encouraged to ride with flair and compete in the costume contest, where one lucky winner will receive a vacation for four to the beautiful white sand beaches of the Gulf Coast, including a private flight, sponsored by Ascension Air, and a 3-night stay at the WaterColor Inn. Other prizes include tickets to Atlanta United, cash, and more.

The outdoor kick-off party will include live music featuring the headlining band Electric Avenue- The 80’s MTV Experience. Featured sponsors include Clif Bar, Moe’s Southwest Grill, Dentistry for Children, The Color Spot, Tin Lizzy’s Cantina, YOO on the Park, Fontis, Vida-Flo, Tito’s Handmade Vodka, Sierra Nevada, and Peachtree Tents & Events.
General admission for $35 includes admission to the festival-style pre-party, a super-soft 2017 Atlanta Moon Ride t-shirt, and admission to the ride.
VIP admission for $95 includes all of the above – plus entry into a private, tented area with catering, VIP bike valet, private check-in, seating, and air-conditioned bathrooms. A private bar will offer signature Tito’s Handmade Vodka cocktails and Sierra Nevada beer.
