In preparation for a full day of adventure ahead, Bert’s Big Adventure kicked off a gorgeous Saturday with breakfast at Animal Kingdom’s Harambe Market. The yummy breakfast quesadillas and potato barrels truly stole the show!
After getting fueled up our crew headed out on a VIP ride on the Animal Kingdom Kilimanjaro Safaris! Our group encountered lions, rhinos, cheetahs, crocodiles, elephants, zebras and so many more unique animals. Next up, the group headed to watch the Broadway-style show, Festival of the Lion King! The rest of the afternoon was spent riding roller coasters, souvenir shopping and exploring other Disney parks.
That evening, we all met back up at Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort to take a beautiful walk to the Grand Harbour Ballroom. There our group was treated to a gorgeous buffet dreamed up in celebration of the 50th anniversary of Cinderella’s Castle. This is such a special year to be at Disney Orlando.
After dinner, there was a …. surprise (!!!) dance party starring the characters from The Incredibles! We laughed, played games and got out the wiggles before one final dance capped off by the pop of confetti cannons. It was the perfect ending to a once-in-a-lifetime day.
