On Sunday, October 6th, Bert’s Big Adventure kiddos and their families descended upon the iconic Fox Theatre for an unforgettable Fall Family Reunion Adventure!
Thanks to the continued generosity of our dear friends at Gas South, nearly 110 families (that’s more than 500 people) enjoyed a spectacular VIP experience, marking a record-breaking attendance in the 22 years of Bert’s Big Adventure!
Our Bert’s Big Adventure families, along with our staff, generous sponsors, and dedicated volunteers, gathered at The Fox Theatre for a VIP dinner in the Egyptian Ballroom before the curtain rose for the world’s #1 musical, Disney’s The Lion King!
Our families reconnected over a grand feast featuring a fully loaded tater tot bar, pizza, chicken nuggets, and an irresistible dessert spread! Thank you to our friends at Affairs to Remember who made the delicious meal possible. We are incredibly grateful to Larry Couzens, Steve Moore and their wonderful team for going above and beyond to make this night extraordinary for our families.
After our bellies were full and we caught up with all of our besties, we made our way to the theater to find our seats! Most of our families have never been to The Fox Theatre before so it was really touching to see their faces light up when they walked into the theater for the first time. The Fox is stunning and the kiddos felt like royalty in there!
A huge thank you to The Fox Theatre and Broadway in Atlanta for creating such a spectacular event for our families!
Another BIG thank you goes to Gas South for sponsoring all of our family reunions in 2024!! Each reunion costs about $50,000, and their generosity continues to make VIP moments possible for our families – what an incredible blessing!
Last but not least, thank you to Cassie Young from The Bert Show with Cassandra Young Photography, Adam Davila with Davila Photography, Sarah Witherington with Sarah Esther Photography, and Masters of Visual Arts (MOVA) for capturing all the magical moments of the day!
This night was truly one for the books! We highly recommend taking the entire family to see Disney’s The Lion King and guess what? Tickets are on-sale now through October 20th.
