The Bert’s Big Adventure crew woke up to a high of 74 degrees and our first gorgeous morning in sunny Florida! We kicked off our day by boarding the Monorail at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort and heading to the iconic Magic Kingdom. Against the backdrop of Cinderella’s Castle, we gathered for a delightful outdoor breakfast at Tomorrowland Terrace!
We filled our bellies with a delicious breakfast with Mickey Waffles, crispy bacon, perfectly cooked eggs, warm homefries, and more! It was the perfect way to fuel up for a fun day ahead.
While the kiddos excitedly buzzed about and our crew made a game plan for our first full day in the park, Bert had a very special announcement to make. SURPRISE! The girls had exclusive appointments booked at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique for princess makeovers! It was so special to have the appointments concurrently!
The day was incredible! Our families and staff enjoyed countless memorable moments in Magic Kingdom before meeting back up for dinner at Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue, settling into Pioneer Hall for two hours of lively dancing, singing, and zany comedy. Laughter echoed as we clapped, danced, and sang along, making it an unforgettable experience. The Pioneer Hall Players even pulled Journee on stage for a fun bit!
Between entertaining skits and songs, we indulged in a feast that included fried chicken, smoked BBQ pork ribs, a tossed green salad, cowboy beans, fresh-baked cornbread, macaroni and cheese, and creamy coleslaw. Of course, we saved room for the grand finale – strawberry shortcake!
