For our last day in sunny Florida, the families were up early to conclude Bert’s Big Adventure 2023 and participate in The Bert Show live broadcast from Disney’s Yacht & Beach Club Resort’s Asbury Hall. We filled our bellies while enjoying one final massive breakfast spread together – We simply couldn’t leave Disney without one last Mickey Waffle morning! An airbrush tattoo designer and a custom caricature artist joined the party to keep spirits high after an early wake-up call. Some of the kiddos opted for full tattoo sleeves to commemorate the trip!
Many tears were shed as parents read personalized letters to their children before the flight home with our wonderful friends at Endeavor Air. The kiddos were again spoiled in flight as Endeavor Air went all out with Mickey decor and served another delicious lunch (and dessert!) with a smile!
Upon arrival at the gate, the sweetest employees from Endeavor Air greeted the families! Bert’s Big Adventure families were surprised at Hilton Atlanta Airport Hotel with huge bins loaded with favorites that the kiddos can enjoy all year round.
Toys were donated by the incredible The Bert Show community. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you so much for spoiling our families!
Following the final squeeze, each of our sleepy families boarded their own individual Fur Bus for a comfy ride home. It was the perfect way to end an unforgettable trip!
Last but never least, thanks to our photographers, including Cassandra Young Photography, Monarch Studio, Sarah Esther Photography and Amanda W. Coker. Thank you to Salt Run Creative and Aslyn Baringer Productions for capturing these magical moments on video!
Remember, we couldn’t do all of this without you! We’re asking our supporters to give just $5 or more! Every dollar you donate to Bert’s Big Adventure between now and February 28th will be matched by Zaxby’s. $5 from you + $5 from Zaxby’s can make a monumental difference in the lives of these very deserving children. Truly, it’s BOGO good karma! If extra credit is your thing, please consider donating $20 for 20 years.
Please donate today.
