On Sunday, November 13th, nearly 300 Bert’s Big Adventure family members reunited for the annual Holiday Family Reunion Adventure at Phipps Plaza and an evening packed with holly jolly memory making for the kiddos!
We spent a spectacular evening being treated to visits with Santa compliments of the incredible team at Santa at Phipps! After each kiddo got to visit and share his or her wish lists with Santa, each of our families took home a gorgeous photo package that they will surely treasure forever. And, did you hear?! Every single Bert’s Big Adventure kiddo made the Nice List this year too!
In between Santa sightings, we dined on a beautiful holiday spread from Carriage House Catering! Our plates were filled to the brim with turkey, ham, sweet potato casserole, mashed potatoes and of course … SO MUCH pie! Our fams never go hungry at a Family Reunion!
For dessert, EcoTech Services provided delicious hot chocolate complete with sprinkles, whipped cream and candy canes! And, let’s just say … the kiddos got extra marshmallows this year! Plus, what are the holidays without cookies? Tiff’s Treats donated hundreds of (warm!) cookies because let’s be real … you can never have too much sugar while celebrating!
To keep the evening festive, volunteers from Carter’s joined us to decorate cookies with colorful icing and all of the sprinkles! And, one of our favorite reunion traditions is our dance party silent disco thanks to our bestie, Yvonne Monet! We partied the night away to all of the holiday hits! We were also joined for the evening by our incredible friend Jo Dodd and her precious sons who shared copies of Jo’s books for each family to take home and enjoy.
