Our founder, Bert Weiss, lovingly refers to our annual all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World as the unofficial initiation into the family and once you’re in, you’re in for life! Each year, every selected Bert’s Big Adventure child also brings every member of his or her household along on the magical adventure. For this reason, our staff and team of volunteers become incredibly close with the entire family!
This year, several of our amazing Bert’s Big Adventure kiddos and siblings graduated high school and deserve to be recognized:
Sahba Badiei
Sahba is the sibling of Samin Badiei and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2010. She graduated from River Ridge High School in Woodstock, GA. She’ll be attending Kennesaw State University in the fall. Go Owls and good luck Sahba!
Brandon Blackburn
Brandon is the sibling of Breanna Blackburn and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2012. He graduated from East Coweta High School. Brandon is following in his older brother’s footsteps and joining the Army. He begins basic training next month. Thank you so much for your service, Brandon!
Tyler Bowman
Tyler is the sibling of Madisyn and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2011. He recently graduated from Apalachee High School. In the fall he is headed to Georgia Gwinnett College! Your future is bright, Tyler!
Lanie Callaway
Lanie is the sibling of Peyton Callaway and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2019. Just last month she graduated from Locust Grove High School and she is still deciding her next move. We know that your future is bright, Lanie!
Erin Chambers
Erin is the sibling of Kyle Chambers and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2011. She is headed to Georgia Southern University in the fall. Go, Erin, go!!
Anthony Jones
Anthony is the sibling of Leslie Barnett and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2016. He graduated from East Pickens High School. Anthony graduated with honors and is headed to Young Harris College with aspirations of becoming a Department of Natural Resource Officer. You go, Anthony!
A’Kaylee Lawson
A’Kaylee is the sibling of Ashlynn Richards and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2018. She graduated from Archer High School. This fall, A’Kaylee will be attending Tennessee State University! Congratulations A’Kaylee! Your family is so proud of you.
Autumn Murray
Autumn is an amazing Bert’s Big Adventure kiddo and she went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2016. She graduated from Frank McClarin Senior High School. Autumn is incredible and graduated one year early with honors! Way to go, Autumn!
Hunter Pruett
Hunter is an amazing Bert’s Big Adventure kiddo and he went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2010. He graduated from Forsyth Central High School. Hunter will be attending University of North Georgia in the fall! We wish you lots of luck, Hunter!
Madison Ringenberg
Madison is an awesome Bert’s Big Adventure kiddo and she went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2014. She graduated from a homeschool program. Maddy plans to continue her studies with a focus on her favorite subjects – geography and history. Earlier this summer she visited George Washington’s boyhood home and hopes to see many more historical sites soon! Way to go, Madison!
Katelyn Tucker
Katelyn is the sibling of Evan Tucker and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2015. She graduated from Pickens County High School. Katelyn has received a competitive academic scholarship to the University of Alabama where she will major in kinesiology! She hopes to pursue a career in athletic training. Go, Katelyn, go!
Alexia Walter
Alexia is the sibling of Tremayne Walter and she went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2010. She graduated from Berkmar High School with special cords for her time in musical theater. She will be attending Fort Valley State University! You’re going to continue to excel, Alexia!
