Bert’s Big Adventure strives to further strengthen its established community and friendships by hosting quarterly Reunion Adventures – Spring, Summer, Fall and Holiday. On Sunday, December 6th, 86 Bert’s Big Adventure families (…y’all that’s 422 besties!) safely gathered at World of Illumination in Marietta for our annual Holiday Reunion Adventure 2020!
Our kiddos enjoyed a VIP private experience at Candy Rush! The show dazzled with hundreds of interactive displays and millions of animated lights! The world’s largest drive-through animated light show was enjoyed from the safety and comfort of individual vehicles to ensure all safety precautions were implemented. When leaving the show, the families were gifted a gingerbread mansion, a gift card to Amazon, one of our annual holiday ornaments and a gift card to enjoy dinner on the way home!

We would never leave our out-of-town families out, but travel is greatly restricted in 2020. While we typically cover all expenses so ALL of our families can be in attendance at each reunion, in light of the pandemic we have had to re-imagine how to connect. As a result, we have mailed customized Reunion Kits to our families outside Georgia. In December, these amazing kits (or “hugs in a box!”) were lovingly shipped to South Carolina, Texas, Indiana, Tennessee, Michigan and Florida to bring smiles, delight and cheer!
