What exactly is GivingTuesday?
It’s a global generosity MOVEMENT unleashing the power of people and organizations to transform their communities and the world. GivingTuesday was created in 2012 as a simple idea — a day that encourages people to do good. Over the past seven years, it has served to inspire hundreds of millions of people to give, collaborate and celebrate generosity.
In an era of global crisis and disconnection, we need generosity to unify us more than ever before.
This year GivingTuesday falls on December 1st — The first day of the last month of a challenging year. We are hopeful that our community can come together to kick-off the season of giving as we countdown to 2021.
