On Sunday, October 18th, Bert’s Big Adventure hosted their first-ever socially distanced Reunion Adventure thanks to our generous friends at Gas South and Zaxby’s! It was the first time that many of our families enjoyed the fellowship of their besties since November 2019. We savored many sweet moments together despite the continued complications created by the global pandemic.
In lieu of their traditional Reunion Adventure, Bert’s Big Adventure kiddos and their families were invited to The Springs Cinema & Taphouse in Sandy Springs for private drive-in showing of the classic kiddo-friendly movie, Shrek. The families were greeted by Bert’s Big Adventure staff and Fairy Godparent volunteers with air hugs and waves from a distance. Guests brought their own dinner, courtesy of gift cards from Zaxby’s, from the comfort of their spacious dedicated parking spots. 2020 can’t stop us from filling our bellies with delicious eats and enjoying VIP experiences!
