In March 2020, in light of a worldwide pandemic and amid a statewide shelter-in-place mandate, Bert’s Big Adventure started the Bert’s Big Adventure Book Club as a way to ‘enter’ our community’s homes each weekday morning at 10:00 a.m. to offer a moment to push pause and enjoy a book reading by a daily “Storytime Star.” We brought our sweet audience forty-seven editions from various Bert’s Big Adventure staffers and friends of our mission. We enjoyed everything from a kiddo-friendly movement class to a snack-making chef demonstration before we took a break for summer vacation.
In a continued attempt to offer BIG ‘virtual’ hugs, the Bert’s Big Adventure Book Club returned for our fall semester on Wednesday, September 9th. Fall promises to be bigger and better than ever as we are being generously sponsored by our amazing friends at Gas South!
Every Wednesday at 10:00 a.m. tune in on the Bert’s Big Adventure Facebook page to find a new reading by a Bert’s Big Adventure kiddo and their family serving as our weekly “Storytime Star.”
