Earlier this week our Atlanta-area 2020 Bert’s Big Adventure families excitedly gathered together for the first time since we surprised them at Georgia Aquarium last month! We met-up to party-down at Dave & Buster’s in Marietta for our New Family Orientation on Tuesday, January 10th. This memorable night began with each child being individually announced by The Bert Show’s Kristin Klingshirn as they entered our private VIP room via a red carpet and were met with cheers and purple pom-poms!
After the warm welcome, the kiddos and their families greeted each other and caught up with new friends! After a delicious dinner (…come on, who doesn’t bond over chicken fingers and mac n’ cheese?!), the kids enjoyed unlimited gaming classics including Pac-Man, Skee-Ball, and Pop-A-Shot, along with other more modern entertainment and games in Dave & Buster’s Million Dollar Midway, while the parents learned more about the upcoming trip! It was a night to remember and just the start of a magical journey for these deserving kids and families.

We are also so grateful to Balloonacy Atlanta for creating beautiful centerpieces and balloon bundles to decorate our space. Our sweet kiddos went home with an infamous Bert’s Big Adventure Countdown Clock after big group hugs and lots of “See you in 35 days!”
