At Bert’s Big Adventure, Sheridan is most well known for her sweet smile and caring spirit. Sheridan manages all of our volunteers and is also our eyes and ears to the families, especially when children are in the hospital. But Sheridan also helps the community beyond the reach of Bert’s Big Adventure!
Did you know Sheridan spent nearly 2 weeks in March along the eastern border of Africa in Lubombo Valley, between Swaziland and Mozambique? She worked on a farm alongside Swazi families and spoke with locals about nutrition choices to help combat common health issues in the area. She also spent much of her time volunteering at Neighborhood Care Points, which help provide necessary care like clean water, food, and basic schooling for impoverished children in the area.
There’s a sign that hangs behind Sheridan’s desk at the office. It reads, “Do all the good you can, in all the ways you can, to all the souls you can, at all times you can.”
Seems fitting for Sheridan.
