Spring Reunion – April 2015
On Saturday, April 18th, the Bert’s Big Adventure families from all past trips were invited to gather together for the spring Reunion Adventure at the 50th Anniversary of the Atlanta Steeplechase.
Nearly 300 Bert’s Big Adventure family members joined in on the day of fun, along with staff and volunteers. Guests enjoyed a full day of horse racing, along with other entertainment like a hat parade, Jack Russell terrier races, skydivers, a parade of the Bear Creek Hounds, the Budweiser Clydesdales and more.
Along with tasty catering by Jim ‘N Nick’s BBQ, the private Bert’s Big Adventure tent was buzzing with entertainment, as well! GG Face Painting provided face painting, Party Time Mug Shots provided an interactive photo booth and the Lining Starz line dance team performed and taught the kiddos some routines. Last but not least, Tikiz of Cobb County provided free shaved ice to all of the guests. Thank you to Atlanta Steeplechase for providing an amazing day for our families!
