It’s with heavy hearts that we announce that Chiquita Clemmons, mother of Kayci Clemmons of the 2010 Bert’s Big Adventure trip, lost her battle with Cancer on Saturday, January 5, 2013. Chiquita was such a loving woman and a wonderful mother; we will all miss her nurturing words and comforting smile. Our thoughts and prayers go out to Chiquita’s family and friends.
Chiquita’s viewing is on Thursday from 2-8 p.m. at Willie A. Watkins Funeral Home (1003 Ralph David Abernathy Blvd.). The Celebration of Life Service will be Friday at Noon and will take place at Destiny World Church (7400 Factory Shoals Rd. Austell, GA).
