For eight years, Bert’s Big Adventure has been helping local terminally and critically ill kids and their families—and sponsoring an annual trip to Disney World. The Atlanta nonprofit organization, which was founded by Bert Weiss of Q100 and his wife Stacey, also hosts reunions for the families. In 2010, the Bert’s Big Adventure Fall Reunion was held at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History. The event included a screening of the IMAX movie “Lions of the Kalahari” and a dinner party in the museum’s great hall.
