It’s with the heaviest of hearts that we share the news that our sweet and long-time volunteer, Pam Collins Barker passed away on Sunday, June 22nd.
In November 2022, Pam was diagnosed with glioblastoma, a battle she faced with immense courage through many rounds of radiation, chemotherapy, and surgery.
For those who knew Pam, she was a fighter, a true light in any room, and a generous giver of herself, her time, and her energy. She has volunteered as a Fairy Godparent with Bert’s Big Adventure since 2014. She has given hundreds of hours to the families we serve through hospital visits, reunions, fundraising events, and more. She was truly a beautiful example of volunteerism and will be deeply missed.
