Bert’s Big Adventure family members stepped up to home plate at Gwinnett Field for our Spring Family Reunion Adventure, proudly fueled by our friends at Gas South!

Also known as family reunions, these exclusive events provide the families we serve with quarterly opportunities to enjoy more VIP experiences and family time away from doctor visits and hospital stays.
This first reunion of the year is always incredibly special. It’s the moment our newest families (who just experienced the magic of Walt Disney World) meet the entire Bert’s Big Adventure family for the very first time.

Our families welcomed them with open arms, instantly becoming a part of our lifelong community of love, support, and connection.
Thanks to the Gwinnett Stripers, our families had the entire stadium to themselves, creating a one-of-a-kind, VIP experience.
We had Mr. Meter from Gas South and Chopper, mascot of the Gwinnett Stripers, greet our families as they walked into Gwinnett Field.

Then it was time to “Batter Up!” Families took to the field to play baseball-inspired games, while staying fueled up on ballpark favorites like hot dogs, popcorn, and plenty of cookies. Our friends from Q99.7 Atlanta joined in on the fun, bringing games, laughter, and nonstop smiles.

If they weren’t on the field playing like a major league baseball player, they were up on the concourse bouncing in one of the two huge bounce houses!

As the sun set, families spread out custom Bert’s Big Adventure picnic blankets right on the field and enjoyed a timeless baseball classic, The Sandlot.

We’re incredibly grateful to our partners at the JW Marriott Buckhead for hosting families traveling from across the country (including Ohio, Tennessee, South Carolina, Alabama, Indiana, and Florida) and making their weekend seamless and stress-free.

And another heartfelt thank you to Gas South and the Gwinnett Stripers for knocking it out of the park and creating such a meaningful, joy-filled experience for our families. This was truly a night to remember!

Last but not least, thank you to Amanda Coker Weiss Photography, Cassie Young from Pionaire Podcasting, and Masters of Visual Arts (MOVA) for capturing all the magical moments of the day!
