Bert’s Big Adventure is so incredibly proud of the commitment to community that has been built among our families since our organization’s inception in 2002. Our founder, Bert Weiss, likes to say that each year the magical, all-expenses-paid, five-day journey to Walt Disney World is the unofficial initiation into our family and once you’re in, you’re in for life!
This year, amid the pandemic, several of our amazing Bert’s Big Adventure kiddos and siblings graduated high school and deserve to be recognized:
Dax Hickman
Dax is the sibling of Courtney Hickman and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2006. He graduated from Gwinnett Online! He’s taking a year off to make some memories acting and modeling. He’s had a recent role in MacGyver season 4, the pilot of DMZ and Underground Railroad. Dax is waiting for the industry to open up for more exciting opportunities to come up! Good luck Dax!
Morgan Sanders
Morgan is the sibling of Connor Sanders and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2014. She graduated from Douglas County High with All A Honors! Morgan will be attending the University Of North Georgia this fall where she will major in nursing. Good luck Morgan!
Michael Clendenin
Michael is one of our sweet Bert’s Big Adventure kiddos and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2009. He graduated from Jasper County High School as an Honor Grad! He will be going to South Georgia Tech College to complete the Caterpillar Heavy Equipment Mechanic Program. Way to go, Michael!
Peyton Darst
Peyton is the sibling of Colton Darst and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2019. He graduated from Franklin Central High School and is attending UINDY, University of Indianapolis, this fall! Go, Peyton, go!
WesLee Hiles
WesLee is an awesome Bert’s Big Adventure kiddo and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2008. She graduated from Lassiter High School and is so happy to finally be done! Way to go, Weslee!
Nolan Ensley
Nolan is the sibling of Callie Ensley and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2013. He graduated from Rockmart High School and is a member of the National Honor Society, an Honor Graduate, Dual Enrollment student, AP Class student, Pathway completer student, 4-H Scholar (he’s participated since 5th grade!), FFA. He also played soccer all four years. He plans to attend Georgia Highland College to finish his pre-vet classes before transfering to UGA to become a Veterinarian! Way to go, Nolan!
Jillian Mabry
Jillian is the sibling of Charlie Mabry and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2003 for our inaugural trip! She graduated from Lambert High School following an awesome 4 years. She was part of the Acting Troupe of Lambert and was able to be in Grease with her brothers, Charlie and Cooper. Jillian has plans to attend Kennesaw State University for a degree in Forensics. Way to go, Jillian!
Cooper Mabry
Cooper is also a sibling of Charlie Mabry and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2003 for our inaugural trip! He graduated from Lambert High School following an awesome four years! He was part of the Acting Troupe of Lambert, the Honor Society and received several awards. Cooper loved doing shows with his siblings, Jillian and Charlie. Cooper has plans to attend Kennesaw State University and pursue a degree in Sports Marketing and Management. All the best, Cooper!
Annais Munoz
Annais is the sibling of Alex Munoz and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2019. She graduated from Stockbridge High School and is planning to go to cosmetology school. Annais is an awesome big sister; way to go Annais!
Jared Blackburn
Jared is the sibling of Breanna Blackburn and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2012. He graduated from East Coweta High School. Jared finished high school with dual enrollments before leaving for U.S. Army Basic Training! Thank you for your service, Jared!
Brianna Hill
Brianna is one of our incredible Bert’s Big Adventure kids and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2008! She graduated from Woodland High School after a stellar senior year – she earned all A’s and a 3.66 GPA! She plans on attending Covenant College in the fall to play softball. Her major will be in sports management! Way to go, Brianna, and we wish you the very best in your next adventure!
Kassandra Argueta
Kassandra is the sibling of Luis Escobar and went to Walt Disney World with Bert’s Big Adventure in 2018. She graduated from Sprayberry High School with honor cords! Kassandra is headed to Kennesaw State University this fall! Way to go Kassandra!
