We’re all about underwater adventures, meaningful connections, and welcoming new families into the magic of Bert’s Big Adventure, and our 2026 Family Orientation was just that and more!
On Sunday, January 11th, we gathered at the Georgia Aquarium to officially welcome our 2026 families for a day designed to connect, prepare, and celebrate the journey ahead.
Thanks to our incredible friends at Gas South and our incredible Bert’s Big Adventure supporters, families had the opportunity to meet one another, build friendships, and get fully oriented for their upcoming five-day, all-expenses-paid journey to Walt Disney World. We are so thankful that everyone’s tremendous generosity continues to go above and beyond, helping us welcome families in absolute style and ensuring every detail is filled with joy, care, and wonder.
We truly couldn’t spoil our families without all of these generous hearts!
From the moment they arrived, excitement filled the air, and it only grew as kiddos explored the wonders of the ocean! Wide-eyed and full of awe, they enjoyed front-row views of beluga whales, giant manta rays, and the magic that lives beneath the sea.
The day was packed with BIG surprises that made it truly unforgettable: custom backpacks, custom t-shirts, countdown clocks to Disney, delicious treats, and so much more. And the moment that stole hearts? Each child received their very own engraved “key to Disney,” a special symbol of the magic waiting just around the corner.
This under-the-sea dream was made possible by Gas South and our incredible Bert’s Big Adventure supporters. Their generosity continues to go above and beyond, helping us welcome families in absolute style and ensuring every detail is filled with joy, care, and wonder. We truly couldn’t spoil our families without their generous hearts.
